Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Location: Fountain Valley, CA (100% Onsite)

Employment Type: Temporary (with possibly temp to hire)

Pay: $29-$31/hr. DOE

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Our client, a well-established and expanding organization, is seeking a Accounting Specialist to join their headquarters team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance department within a growing company.

Position Summary

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting the integrity and accuracy of financial operations by applying established accounting standards and procedures. This position plays a key role in financial reporting and analysis to ensure timely and reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with financial statements, reports, and budgeting activities
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor and manage organizational revenues and expenses
• Review and audit financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support forecasting efforts and evaluate financial risks

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in general accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation is preferred but not required
